The reason why the game wasn't released on September 2021 is because it needs a lot of polish and bug fixing up before it's ready to be released. Nobody is really sure when the game would be out, because it's such a complicated game. It contains over two hundred rooms to explore and features an interesting storyline involving a girl who must travel back in time to fix the mistakes she made in her own timeline. A very intriguing concept, but it's not very simple to translate into a video game. So you can expect to see a lot more bug testing and balance tests before the game's ready to go.
A Unique VR Mixing System
What makes this game exciting though is its unique 'VR mixing' system. Here's how it works: you play the video in your typical game pad format, but when you move your hands to manipulate items in the environment, a mix of real life and virtual reality occurs. This creates a unique visual experience for players. You may have already played some of the early versions of the game on the Nintendo Wii, but if you haven't yet, you're in for a real treat!
The storyline of Deathloop revolves around a young girl named Armani who is traveling back in time in order to prevent a deadly pandemic. The problem is, she's not sure how to get there. The boy from the video who shows up at the end of the game, covid-19 pandemic virus, wants her to join him, and he's willing to sacrifice himself to do it. You can use the hand controllers on the Wii to take Armani through many interesting locations and obstacles that will challenge even the hardened video game player.
There’s Room For Improvement
The game is not perfect. There are definitely areas where the game could use improvement, but it still is a very enjoyable game to play. Deathloop on new consoles is probably the best video game for new consoles in 2021, and the game play is top notch. The graphics are also some of the best you'll find on a video game console today.
The gameplay in Deathloop on Xbox Live Arcade is similar to what you'd find on other platforms, but the difference is the motion sensor technology. You can actually "sense" the motion around you and react to it. You can run, jump, crouch, and execute power moves. Basically, you have a wide range of motion to maneuver with, and it really adds to the sense of adventure that the game is trying to convey.
Easy Time Mastering It
There is no doubt that anyone playing Deathloop on new consoles will have an easy time of mastering this game. The controls are quite straightforward, which is nice. You simply move your mouse cursor over an object and press the corresponding action key to make that object fall and/or loop back to you. If you want to loop around something, just hold down the accelerate button and watch the object disappear before your eyes. There are many other added features such as alternate colour jump buttons, held forwards and backwards to double jump, and landing gear.
The game was released in March 2021, so it's not too far away from being a household name. There are a few people that have expressed concerns about the graphics, but it seems most people are happy with the quality of game play. Deathloop on Xbox Live Arcade is currently only available in North America (US, Canada), but it should be released worldwide shortly. The PC version should release sometime in 2021 and hopefully in 2021. I'll keep an eye out for news regarding this exciting new game!
